WOW. What an amazing first Sailing Jolly we both had in October 2012 sailing from Kos to Athens. The sailing was fantastic, weather was wonderful, great bunch of people & new friends forever. Rich kept to his promise of how good it would be, and we did our first ever night sail, simply unforgettable! Exhilarating, words cannot describe!!! We also learned new skills & had plenty of laughter - great fun was had by all. Will definitely be doing another one. The trip was also made great by the other 3 skippers, Graham, Paul and Simon. I would also urge any novice or developing sailor to book a trip as it's a great way to get experience and build confidence. Thanks for a memorable trip Rich :) Vic & Ian Hotson

My wife Christine and I have enjoyed two Jollies in Greece so far - from flat calm seas to gale force winds and invigorating, high speed night sails give an idea of the fun we've had. We can only recommend a Sailing Jolly with Rich or one of his experienced skippers, regardless of your level of competence. The level of professionalism is second to none, as is the ability to "have a good time" with all the crews. We are very much looking forward to our next Jolly some time in 2013. Kos to Athens October 2012. Many thanks to Richard for good organisation and a lot of emails! This was my first Sailing Jolly and we have already booked for another one in April 2013 - so proof is in the pudding, as they say. Did the Kos to Athens trip in October and had a great time. Well organised by Rich and our skipper Simon was excellent - would have no hesitation at all in sailing with him again. Nice easy relaxed style, ensuring everyone had opportunity to do different roles depending on their experience. First time sailing in Greece and it made a warm change from the west coast of Scotland! Hi Rich. Wanted to put on record my thanks for a great trip from Kos to Athens in October. I was new to this sort of trip, and it was great to be amongst a diverse bunch of people with different experience levels, so it was wonderful from a learning point of view, but with great fun socially also. I would heartily recommend a Jolly to anyone, including single travellers, who wants to try sailing or brush up on existing skills or build for new qualifications. Hope to be back soon! I had a great time on the Kos - Athens Oct 2012. A wonderful mix of people. I enjoyed all the aspects of the holiday from learning new skills, relaxing in the lovely weather and of course the nights alongside having a few beers. Shaun Eckersley

I thoroughly enjoyed the Jolly in October 2012 - great company and great sailing. Simon Hayes is an excellent skipper & sailor, and he's superb at passing on knowledge and guidance without 'instructing' - I learned a lot from him, First Mate Paul Heywood and the rest of the crew. The experience in October has persuaded me to go for the Day Skipper qualification and I am looking forward to the Jolly in April 2013. Thanks to Richard for organising these unique experiences! Brilliant trip, I was new to sailing with only a passing interest for previous experience, but Richard was keen and able to demonstrate tasks easily, and let you decide on the level of interaction or involvement you wanted. The trip was an ideal mix of social interaction for meeting new people and learning new sailing skills. Would recommend this to everyone.. Thank you Richard and family, really nice business idea.
